A person must be 18 years or older to become an owner, admin or community member on Till.
Family Account Owner
The family account owner is a family member, usually a parent or guardian, that is responsible for verifying their identity in order to open the family bank account. They can create goals for their kid(s), link their checking account to fund Quick Gives and contributions, invite kids, admins and community members to the family on Till, close savings goals, assign tasks for their kid(s) to accomplish, and approve transfers initiated by a kid in the family.
A family account owner can only be an owner in one family at a time, however they can be a community member in as many other families as invited. They cannot be an admin to another family at this time.
The family admin is invited by the family account owner to join the family on Till. They must also verify their identity in order to move money to a kid's account. They can create goals, assign tasks for the kid(s) to accomplish, link their own checking account to fund Quick Gives and contributions, and invite kids and community members to the family on Till.
An admin can only be an admin to one family at a time, however they can be a community member in as many other families as invited. They cannot be an owner to another family at this time.
Kids are invited to the family by family account owners or admins. They can create goals, accomplish tasks, initiate transfers, and most importantly - use their virtual/physical debit card to make online or in-store purchases as well as withdraw cash at an ATM. Quick Gives and contributions will be created for them.
A kid can only be a kid in one family at a time. Kids of all ages can be invited to Till as a kid. Kids cannot have any other role in any other family on Till until they are 18 years or older - at which point they will need to open a new Till account and undergo identity verification.
Community members are invited by family account owners or admins. They can link their checking account to make contributions toward the kid’s goals. They will not see any bank account information of the family or any of the kid’s spending history.
A community member can be invited to more than one family as a community member. They can also create their own family and become an owner or they can be invited as an admin to one other family.
