There are many ways for any family account owner, admin, or community member to move money to a kid:
Allowance
Family account owners and admins can each set a fixed amount of money to be sent to their kid’s Spend Balance on a weekly basis. To set an allowance, navigate to your kid’s “Earned” page and tap Allowance, located under Spend Balance, then select an amount and a weekday.
Quick Give
Quick Gives allow family account owners and admins to instantly give money to a kid. To send a Quick Give, just tap the Send money button under your kid's name, and enter the amount you want to give, as well as the payment destination.
Contribution
Contributions are automated, recurring transactions toward a kid’s savings goal funded by adults within your Till family, including family account owners, admins, and community members.
To learn more about contributions, see How do contributions work?
Task
Tasks are actions, or chores, set by parents (family account owners and admins) for kids to complete in exchange for money.
To learn more about tasks, see How do tasks work?
Transfers
Transfers are another way to move money within Till and are reserved for kids and parents (account owners and admins). Transfers are how a kid can move money between balances and from their balances to goals within Till. Once a kid initiates a transfer, the family account owner has to approve it. Once approved, the funds are instantly transferred to the intended destination.
To learn more about transfers, see How do I transfer funds within Till?
Now that the money is flowing, the kid can check their dashboard to monitor their account balances, savings goal progress, and recent activity!
